In the sixties a new Catholic parish was formed, our St. Joan of Arc, it was a dream come true.
Everyone was asking, “how can we help?” A small group of women gathered and made a plan to try to continually supply the needs of our Lord’s altar and sanctuary with hosts, wine, candles, and other necessary items. This began the Altar & Rosary Society. 

The Altar and Rosary Society is responsible for the yearly crowning of Mary in May.

We would also continue to comfort and help parish families who are grieving at the death of a loved one by offering a funeral meal. Financial support for our mission of support for our community comes from bake sales and rummage sale run by the Altar & Rosary Society as well as donations from the funeral lunches.  Sue Francis :  sfrancis51@yahoo.com   tele - 330-626-4160
